Our Church Staff
Louis Johnson, Pastor
Louis Johnson has been the pastor of North Park Baptist Church for more than 25 years, having begun his ministry here in March of 1991. A graduate of Hardin-Simmons University, before coming to North Park Louis served as Youth Minister and Associate Pastor of First Baptist Church in Clyde, Texas. He has also served churches in San Angelo and Roscoe, Texas. He and his wife Sherri have two grown children and seven grandchildren, as well one very ill-behaved dog.

Greg Fortson, Music Minister
Greg Fortson has led our church's worship through music since April of 2014. He is the youngest of five children and a PK. Greg has served on the staff of five churches in both Ohio and Texas. Greg and his wife, Jill, have traveled and sung all over the United States, having met on a singing group at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. They were married in August 1986. They have 3 boys, Jonathan, a student at Texas Tech, majoring in Music Education, and twins, David and Benjamin who are in the AISD schools. In addition to being a gifted singer and songwriter, Greg enjoys golf, shooting, spending time with his family, and bad puns.

Caleb Phillips, Student Minister
Caleb Phillips leads our church’s ministry to children and youth students. Caleb joined the North Park staff in June of 2016. He was born in Mt. Vernon, TX, is a graduate of East Texas Baptist University, and is currently studying for his Master’s of Divinity degree at Logsdon Seminary. Caleb enjoys football, reading, watching movies, fishing, and playing the bass guitar.

Jorge Arias, Pastoral Ministry Associate
Jorge Arias is our newest staff member, and he is serving as our Pastoral Ministry Associate while studying for his Master of Divinity degree at the Logsdon Seminary of Hardin-Simmons University. Jorge graduated from East Texas Baptist University in 2015 with a degree in Religion and a concentration in Pastoral Ministry and Counseling. Jorge is an avid reader and enjoys writing about topics relating to faith and culture.
